Phase 4 Reopening

Social distancing remains in order by executive order

Phase 4 involves the return of some employees to certain businesses, but all New Yorkers are asked to do their part to continue social distancing in the fight against the pandemic.

Through Phase 4

  • Stay home as much as possible
  • Limit socialization to household members as much as possible
  • Social gatherings of up to 50 people are allowed
  • Indoor religious gatherings at 33% capacity are allowed
  • Wear face masks/coverings in public at all times when six feet of social distance cannot be maintained and wash hands frequently
  • Additional guidance can be found on the NY Forward website

The past months have been so difficult for all of us. We appreciate the hard work you've done to help move New York towards reopening. Please hang in there for a little longer to help us keep moving forward.

Phase 4: Stay Home, Stop the Spread. Save Lives.

There is currently no vaccine to prevent COVID-19 so the best way to avoid getting it is to avoid being exposed to it: Flatten the Curve

As we battle coronavirus together, tracing exposures to COVID is important to stop the spread.

Because the disease can be transmitted without symptoms, notifying people about a possible exposure is  critical to stop the spread.

So, if you get a call from “NYS Contact Tracing” (518-387-9993) please answer. It is confidential and private.

Learn more about New York State Contact Tracing and download a contact tracing worksheet on our Flatten the Curve page
