Agricultural Environmental Management (AEM) Program

AEM is a voluntary program that provides farm operations with a means to address environmental issues related to agriculture. It has been designed to help farmers balance business, production and environmental objectives on their farms.

Through this program staff can determine the environmental issues that need to be addressed. The District then applies for grants that provide cost sharing for implementing practices with environmental benefits.
