The IP Web Visitor© System is easy to use and requires no special computer skills. Visits are inexpensive, typically far less costly both in time and money, when compared to traveling to the correctional facility.
IP Web Visitor© utilizes the power of the internet to deliver clear visitation sessions from home or office. Family members, attorneys and clergy can schedule visits and talk with loved ones and clients over the internet-eliminating the time and stress associated with travel to the correctional facility.
Where can I go to find information about visit scheduling and troubleshooting?
IP Web Visitor provides a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page and an online User's Guide. Go to www.ipwebvisitor.com to access these informative pages prior to your visit.
If I don't have a credit card how can I pay for visitation?
You can purchase a prepaid money card from most retailers such as Wal-Mart or Target. You can refill the money card as often as you like.
What is your refund policy?
Once you reserve a visitation time slot at a specific detention center, you will be charged a fee for this reservation. This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you are unable to conduct your visit in accordance with your reservation as the result of a technical problem at the facility, you may be entitled to receive a substitute reservation code that will entitle you to reserve a future visit at no additional cost. Substitute Reservation Codes are issued at the discretion of the management of the facility at which your visit was scheduled. Problems with your computer equipment or your internet service that prevent you from conducting a scheduled visit will not qualify you to receive a Substitution Reservation Code. To request a Reservation Code, go to www.ipwebvisitor.com, navigate to the Sign In page, login, then click the code request link.
Are my sessions recorded and monitored?
Yes. If you are a professional visitor and the agency has approved your professional status, your visits will not be monitored or recorded.
Can I still have contact visits?
Yes. The state of New York mandates contact visits. IP Web Visitor is an optional means of visitation
