County Computers for Our Communities

The equipment we are offering would be ideal for children or beginners learning basic computer skills. |
County Executive Mike Breslin has initiated a program to make surplus computer systems available free of charge to non-profit organizations in Albany County. The County Computers for Our Communities program will provide public libraries, child care centers listed with the Child Care Coordinating Council, Inc., after school programs, and community and senior centers with computers equipped with the Microsoft® Windows 95 operating system, a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
If you are interested in participating in County Computers for Our Communities or have questions regarding program eligibility or system specifications, please contact Esther Strachman, Albany County Division of Information Services, at estrachman@albanycounty.com or (518) 447-7277 or complete the convenient online Request for Information form below.
