County Executive McCoy to Announce New Opioid Litigation

Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy will announce new litigation against the distributors of opioids for their role in the opioid epidemic experienced throughout the country. This litigation will expand the County’s efforts to fight Big Pharma. Last year the County filed historic litigation, now pending in Federal Court in the Northern District of Ohio, which includes over 1,500 other states, counties and localities, against pharmaceutical manufacturers.
