A Message from the Commissioner of Health on H1N1 Flu

Dear Albany County Resident,

The Albany County Department of Health continues to be actively involved in H1N1 pandemic response activities. We are working closely with many community partners to implement appropriate recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New York State Department of Health.

We would like to remind residents that it is important to take steps that can prevent the spread of influenza in our community. The recommendations posted on our website can help prevent the spread of influenza as well as other communicable diseases.
