County Executive Daniel P. McCoy today announced that the administration has submitted a request for $2.2 million in funding to be moved from a contingency fund in the budget to enable the Albany County Nursing Home to meet payroll and other expenses for the month of July.

Albany County's "Return the FAVOR" (Find & Assist Vets of Record) Program has enrolled its 1,000th veteran and signed on its 100th business.  Return the Favor is a merchant discount program for eligible Albany County veterans who receive a discount on purchases or services at participating merchants.
