Soil Group Worksheets

The Albany County Soil and Water Conservation District is responsible for completing Soil Group Worksheets for farmland owners applying for an agricultural assessment. These worksheets are used by assessors to recalculate a real property assessment based on soil productivity. Staff will plot the boundaries of each farmed parcel on a soil map and determine the acreage in each soil group (fee involved).
