Clinical Programming and Services

Department of Nursing

Albany County Nursing Home provides skilled nursing services twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. Our facility boasts one of the highest nursing–to–patient staffing ratios found in the industry today.

Registered nurses are always on duty and each nursing unit is overseen by a Nurse Manager who is also a registered nurse.

Our Nursing Department's clinical programming is continually reviewed to ensure that the treatments we offer are the most current and up-to-date within the industry.

In addition to Nursing Administration and our unit nursing staff, we retain full-time registered nurses who oversee skin care programs, and who monitor infectious diseases and infection control practices.

Few facilities nationally provide such an extensive array of clinical programming as we do within our Nursing Department.
