| The Assertive Community Treatment program (ACT), implemented by the Albany County Department of Mental Health, is the first such program in the state to be licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health. With a unique and comprehensive approach to treatment, ACT has been developed to serve high need, high priority individuals of Albany County whose needs have not been well met by more traditonal forms of service delivery.

| CART Mobile Crisis |
CART Mobile Crisis offers 24 hour, 7 days a week availability of mobile response to individuals experiencing a psychiatric emergency throughout Albany County.

The Crisis Intake and Crisis Stabilization Intervention Units respond to the needs of children by providing emergency evaluation and triage services.

CART is a clinical case management and treatment program of the Albany County Department of Mental Health (ACDMH).

Community residents who have an interest in services for the mentally disabled are welcome to attend meetings of the Community Services Board and its three subcommittees on Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (MRDD), and Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
