Patrick F. Timmins is serving his first term in the Albany County Legislature as the representative of residents of the 22nd Legislative District. The district lies entirely within the Town of Colonie and is made up of portions of Latham, Newtonville and Loudonville.

Pat is a member of the Health and Public Safety Committees and the Albany County Board of Health.

A medical doctor, Pat has been in practice in the Capital District since 1999 as a Gynecologic Oncologist and is co-owner of Women's Cancer Care Associates, LLC. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, he was educated at Ohio State University for both his undergraduate degree and medical school. Pat completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. This sub-specialty involves the surgical and medical care of women with cancer and pre-cancerous conditions of the reproductive organs. It also involves the care of many patients whose family or personal history places them at increased risk of these cancers.

Pat and his wife Vicki, a Spanish literature professor, are the parents of twins Alejandra and Patrick.
