Community Health Assessment [PDF*]
How Healthy is Albany County (and the Capital District)?
The 2009 Community Health Profile is the result of a two year community health planning process. Hospitals, Local Health Departments, Community Health Centers, community organizations, members of the public and business representatives contributed their ideas about public health needs in Albany County and the region through planning meetings; analysis of mortality, hospitalization and health behavior data; a health survey completed by over 1,100 people and a community health forum televised on our local public television station.
