All counties in New York State must make the change from the lever voting machines to an optical scan voting machine. This change is effective as of the 2010 Primary Elections on September 14.

Your Vote Counts!

If you haven't already registered to vote, please take a few minutes now to register. If you have access to a printer, you can use one of our downloadable registration forms. Click the name of the form you need below, print it out and fill it in.

How to open a form on your computer

Simply click on the name of the form you want in the list at right. The form you select will open in a new browser window--when you're done printing the form (or saving it for printing later) close the form and we'll be here waiting for you.

How to print the form

When you have successfully opened the form, you can print it by clicking on "File" in the text menu bar (usually at the top left), and then selecting "Print..." from the drop-down menu. Another way to print is to click the printer icon on your toolbar at top of the window.

How to save the form

If you don't have a printer available at the moment, but would like to print the form later, you can save the form to your hard drive.

When you have successfully opened the registration form, you can save it by clicking on "File" in the text menu bar at the top of your screen, and then selecting "Save" from the drop-down menu. You can also save the file by clicking on the "Save" icon on your toolbar. Be sure to remember where you saved the file (what folder on your hard drive) so you can find it again later.

If you don't have a printer...

You can call us at (518) 487-5060 and request that a registration form be mailed to you.

The voter forms are in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format. Many computers will be able to open these files with no problem. However, if you do have trouble opening one of our forms, you might need to download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
