Children and Family Services

Provides Child Protective Services, Prevention Services, A Centralized Intake and Assessment Team, Foster Care Services, Adoption Services and The Independent Living Program.

 
Children with Special Needs

Provides an Early Intervention Program, Service Coordination, Comprehensive Evaluation Services
Children with Special Health Care Needs Program/ Physically Handicapped Children’s Program, and Preschool Children with Disabilities Program.

 
Children's Mental Health Unit

The Children's Mental Health Clinic provides crisis evaluation, triage and ongoing treatment for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances and their families.  Most often, referrals regard children who are suicidal, exhibiting psychotic behavior or aggressive behavior.

 
Healthy Families Albany County

Healthy Families Albany County is an in-home support program to promote healthy families.

Substance Abuse Prevention

The Albany Co. Substance Abuse Prevention Program (ACSAPP) seeks to reduce or eliminate substance abuse and other risk taking behaviors throughout the life span of all county residents by working with the individual, the family, the school and the community.

 
Youth Bureau

The Youth Bureau plans, develops and funds a variety of programs and initiatives for youth under the age of twenty-one.
