Online Access to Deeds and Mortgages
The Albany County Clerk’s office has recently upgraded its Imaging and Indexing System. Images of deeds and mortgages from 1980 to the present are instantly available on screen, along with the index to these and other documents.
You can also view deeds and mortgages of properties owned by individuals, corporations and other organizations directly on the Internet. Access these online documents here.
This is a pilot program with free access for a limited time. Online information is slightly less current than the information available in the County Clerk’s office (which is always the official record). Try it out!
