The Albany County Hall of Records, under the jurisdiction of Albany County Clerk, Thomas G. Clingan, is a joint County and City Records Management repository organizing the recorded historical information of Albany County dating back to 1630.
The staff of the Hall of Records takes great pride in making these records available to the community and safeguarding them by maintaining proper climate controlled storage, microfilming and scanning.
This virtual tour is a brief snapshot of the daily operations of the Hall of Records. The Hall of Records is open Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. For more information, contact Deputy Director Craig Carlson at  ccarlson@albanycounty.com or (518) 436-3663, ext. 204.
