Youth Initiatives

Town of Bethlehem - The Pit
Monday - Friday 2:45 PM - 4:45 PM

After school drop-in center at the Bethlehem Middle School for at-risk youth, ages 10-15, who need a safe, structured environment to speak with adult counselors for guidance and support, or to just hang out.

Hilltown Youth Service Project - (Catholic Charities of Albany and Rensselaer Counties)
Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 PM

The programs goals are to help at-risk and low income youth and their families gain self-sufficiency for daily living through coordination of services available through various agencies, crisis intervention and on-going client support.

Equinox - Emergency Shelter Project

Program provides 24 hour-a-day, 7 days-a-week, short-term crisis intervention services for runaway and homeless youth ages 10 -17 from Albany County. Agency has 13 emergency beds which will be expanded to 18 beds in the near future.

New Day Art Program

Program will offer art as a form of expression, healing, energy, power, community, enlightenment, health and joy to south-end youth ages 7-19 through workshops and special events.
