Albany County Update on Hurricane Sandy

OCTOBER 27—The latest on Hurricane Sandy is showing the brunt of the storm will be on Monday into Monday night. Expect the strongest winds Monday afternoon/night, although winds begin to pick up Monday morning and the heaviest rainlooks to be Monday afternoon into Monday night. There is a potential for minor flooding but the situation is still developing. Tidal Flooding along the Hudson is a possibility.
