County Executive McCoy Discusses the Nursing Home
In a commentary to the Albany Times-Union, County Executive Dan McCoy explains his position on the difficult process of making a decision regarding the Albany County Nursing Home:
Deciding the fate of the Albany County Nursing Home is likely the most difficult decision that I will face as an elected official. It's a decision that is not to be taken lightly and one that requires full exploration of all options.
Over the past five years, there have been many discussions about how best to serve the financial interests of Albany County taxpayers, yet also offer solutions to our most vulnerable residents.
