The Albany County Judicial Center is being shut down immediately. A fire in the sewer system outside the building has resulted in smoke being drawn into the building through the air intake system.
"For the protection and safety of those in the building, Sheriff Craig Apple and I determined this had to be done," said Albany County Executive Daniel McCoy.
No one has been hurt and the source of the fire is unknown at this time.
