REMINDER for COUNTY EMPLOYEES
Notification in Case of Inclement Weather
As winter weather season approaches I would like to remind you about situations where inclement weather may affect Albany County operations. Should County offices be closed due to severe weather, the County Executive's Office will notify the local media, post the closing on AlbanyCounty.com and notify employees via email. In addition those employees who do not have access to these sources can call (518) 447-7000 to determine if their work site is open.
I would also ask that those units who have employees who do not have access to email please print a copy of this notice for those employees.
Be safe, take precautions, and thank you for the work that you do for Albany County.
