Travis Stevens is serving his first term in the Albany County Legislature, representing the 31st Legislative District. The district is comprised of Altamont, East Berne, Guilderland Center and Knox.  Travis is an Energy Conservation Technical Specialist with the New York State Office of General Services. Prior to his current employment, Travis worked for his family owned and operated petroleum business and in the maritime industry offshore.

Prior to being elected to the position of Albany County Legislator, Travis was appointed to the Town of Knox Conservation Advisory Council and elected to the Knox Town Board.Active in his community, Travis is a third generation active member of the Knox Volunteer Fire Department.

Travis holds a degree in engineering and earned a United States Coast Guard Third Assistant Engineer License from the State University of New York at Maritime College located at historic Fort Schuyler.

He resides in the Town of Knox with his beautiful wife Tara and their two young children.
