Chair of the ACCA Board's Community Benefits Focus Group, L. Lloyd Stewart states, "The Authority's commitment to economic inclusion has to be followed by socially conscious activities and programs that will benefit the local community. Deborah Williams-Muhammad and her company have already helped the Authority to lay the foundation to make that possible." ACCA board Chairman George Leveille said, "Deborah has been invaluable in the development of the Affirmative Action/Economic Inclusion Plan and we look forward to continuing the good working relationship".

The Albany Convention Center Authority was organized in 2006 as a public benefit corporation under the New York State Public Authorities Act.
