Michael Yevoli

Mr. MichaelYevoli’s background includes over 15 years of diverse economic development and planning experience, including the management of various large-scale development and planning projects. He earned his BS in Urban and Regional Planning from the SUNY Oneonta. Following college Michael began working for Montgomery County, New York, helping to establish the County Planning Department. He later served 8 years as Director of Economic Development and Executive Director of the Industrial Development Agency.

Michael is currently President of the Albany Local Development Corporation as well as Commissioner for the City of Albany’s Department of Development and Planning. He was appointed in 2007 after serving as Albany’s Planning Director for a year. As Commissioner he oversees the operations of ALDC, The Industrial Development Agency, the Empire Zone, the Community Development Agency, and the Planning Office.

He resides in the City of Albany with his wife and two children.
