Albany County Celebrates African American History Month

African American History Month is an important time to look back and reflect on the advancements made in equality here in Albany County as well as the nation as a whole.
Join Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy, Albany County Legislators and Frederick W. Ingleton, Jr. for the start of the month long celebration and reflection on the changes made throughout the Civil Rights Movement.
The kickoff will be held on February 3, 2014 in the Cahill Room in the Harold L. Joyce Albany County Office building at 112 State Street from noon to one p.m. and feature music and light desserts provided by the Glenmont Job Corps Culinary Team.
