Albany County Celebrating Youth Service and Walk to End Bullying

4/21/2017 9:53:41 AM

One out of every five kids in America has been bullied. Albany County cares about our youth and will hold a Walk2ENDBullying this Saturday, April 22 at Lincoln Park at Eagle Street and Morton Avenue in Albany at 11am.  It's part of Albany's Global Youth Service Day.  The Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families - Youth Bureau has partnered with the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center and the Albany County Department of Recreation to celebrate our local kids' volunteerism and commitment to ending bullying in our communities.

Join Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy from 11am-2pm for the walk, music, crafts, food and other activities.  Bring a non-perishable food item that will be donated to a local food pantry.
