McCoy Jobs Initiative Brings County into 21st Century

Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy has made providing economic opportunity and growing the county’s economy a priority of his administration.
While the economy has slowly improved over the last two years, the County Executive has been working with local leaders, chambers of commerce, higher education, and the business community to make sure the economy is moving in the right direction.
That is why the County Executive will announce a new initiative that will bring the region into the 21st Century. He will make a significant announcement at a news conference on March 6, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cahill Room of the Harold L. Joyce County Office Building. Joining him will be representatives of ShopRite, Schenectady County Community College, Bryant & Stratton College, The State University of New York Empire State College, Mr. Subb and local chambers of commerce.
