Troop 2 October Camp Out

Troop 2, the longest continuously operating Boy Scout Troop in Albany County, chartered in 1910, enjoyed their monthly camp out at Lawson Lake County Park.

The weather was nearly perfect as the troop slept in tents, cooked outside and explored of Lawson Lake.On Saturday the troop went to Thatcher Park.

It was a great weekend of fun, excitement and education.

The Scouts that attended this weekend were Armand VanNordstrand, Elijah Cole and Steven Matthews. The group leaders were Paul Miller and Bob Conklin. Without the two leaders there would not have been a camp out weekend; Thank you to the both of them.

Lawson Lake is becoming the Scout's home away from home.
