Lawson Lake County Park

Boy Scout Troop 75 from Delmar, NY

Lawson Lake County Park was home to Boy Scout Troop 75 from Delmar, NY. The Troop, led by Daniel Folio, pitched and struck their tents, cooked their own meals, built fires, went on a 3-mile hike, played Boy Scout games, watched Down and Derby (Cub Scout movie), worked on rank requirements, and patrolled the campsite to make sure it was clean.

All in all the weekend was full of fun and excitement from telling stories around the fire to getting a good night's sleep. The scouts are looking forward to planning another weekend at Lawson Lake. Some of the guys have already been requesting dates.

The staff at Lawson Lake also are looking forward to their next visit.
