Alex Rogers Earns Eagle Badge

Alex Rogers of Boy Scout Troop 1701 from Latham received his Eagle badge in April 2018. Alex’s project was to create something for the outdoors at Lawson Lake County Park that people would enjoy.

Alex created bird feeders and picnic tables that he and his father placed on the grounds. Members of Troop 1701 helped him construct these projects. This project was started in the winter as Alex chose the placement of the feeders and picnic tables.

He is seen here as Brian McCoy, Director of Lawson Lake County Park, signs off on the paperwork for Alex to receive his Eagle Badge.
