Lawson Lake County Park

Bethlehem Girl Scout Troop 1438 Activity Day

On Saturday June 24, 2107, three girl scouts from Bethlehem Troop 1438, held an activity day at Lawson Lake County Park. This entailed coloring sheets, snacks, a nature scavenger hunt, and a walk along the loop trail.

The three of them were holding this event in order to promote Lawson Lake and their three brochures. All of these things are contributing to their Silver Award.

A Silver Award is an award that can be completed by a Cadette level girl scout. Each girl must complete 50 hours of work and service towards their project, and it must be an attempt to make an impact on their community.

Each girl's brochure talks about different forms of wildlife at Lawson Lake. The topics are Water Life, Birds and Trees. These brochures are posted in different areas throughout the county park.
