A new parking lot at the Lawson Lake visitor center will accommodate visitors at the building and future improvements at the site!

Early Steps

The parking lot was designed by the Albany County Department of General Services (DGS) and the surveying and grading work provided by the Albany County Department of Public Works (DPW).

Open year round to the public for bird watching, cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, ice fishing, nature study, picnicking, snowshoeing and the use of canoes and portable cartop watercraft.
