Home Delivered Meals
One or two balanced meals are delivered to the homebound including anyone age 60 years or older. Contributions are suggested, but not required.
To be eligible an individual must meet all three of the following criteria:
- Is incapacitated due to accident, illness, or frailty.
- Lacks the support of family, friends, or neighbors.
- Is unable to prepare meals because of lack/inadequacy of facilities, or inability to shop, cook or prepare meals safely, or lack knowledge or skill.

The Access to Home Program provides funding for to make the home accessible: including ramps, widening doors and alterations that enable Albany County residents with disabilities to remain or return to their own homes rather than enter or remain in more costly and restrictive institutional settings.
