Adult Day Care

Adult day care is for residents aged 60+ who are physically frail or cognitively impaired, and in need of some assistance with activities of daily living. The program is designed to give caregivers a day-long break from the 24-hour caregiver role; allow caregivers to retain a job; or avoid the need for assisted living or a nursing home. Grants may be available for eligible seniors. To find out how to access services, call the programs listed below.

Some adult day programs offer health care through the Medical Model (which includes nursing care and Alzheimer's or dementia care).  The following adult day care programs we currently support offer planned therapeutic recreational activities following the Social Model:
